“I was a little hesitant about whether or not I wanted to spend the extra money and get a wedding planner since we are a young couple with 3 young children and had a really tight budget but I’m so glad I did! Denise was awesome! She helped us from the very beginning to the very end.
A lot of people think it’s not necessary to have a wedding planner that they can do it on their own but Denise was so helpful she really knows the wedding world and has a lot of connections with so many great vendors. She understood we were on a budget and found us all the venders that were perfect for us who fit our style and budget and personalities. She was able to help us narrow down the search and gave us both her professional and personal opinions. She was very knowledgeable and experienced.
It was so easy to reach her she always answered her emails or text messages within minutes and she made sure we stayed ahead of our wedding timeline. As busy as I was with 3 kids and my 2 jobs she made planning this wedding so easy for me. She is very organized and very convenient. She came and met with us in our home town since it was easier for us and she went to every vendor meeting we had.
Everything went so smoothly the day of the wedding she was the first one at the venue and helped set up all the decorations perfectly for us everything looked even better then I had expected she made sure all the vendors showed up when they were supposed to and made sure they were doing what they were supposed to and her candy buffet at the end of the night was just the perfect ending to our perfect day.

Denise is very punctual with response time. She showed up on time to the rehearsal dinner and was there as I entered the church to get dressed. Victoria & Taylor were super sweet and helpful. They were very professional! I loved the fact that everything was taken care of at the venue while at was at the church, since my ceremony and reception were at different locations. Denise was unbelievably helpful in making my wedding day go smoothly. She even arrived the night before so she could attend my rehearsal dinner and meet my wedding party! On the day of the wedding, she surprised me by bringing an additional helper, and both of them proved to be total lifesavers—they set up our decorations so everything looked perfect, made sure the gifts and cards were safely put away at the end of the night, and even pinned up my wedding dress when the bustle fell apart at the last minute!

I used Brilliant Affairs for the day of my daughter's wedding in September. I was fortunate to hire Denise close to the wedding date to help the ceremony and reception run smoothly.
She was extremely professional and knowledgeable and helped us coordinate the ceremony the way we wanted. Her assistant Victoria was a gem as well. They helped us set up the reception hall during cocktails when we were with guests, and blended in so that they were not noticeable during important moments.
Did I mention Denise is extremely prompt? She never was never late for consultation, rehearsal and of course the wedding day itself and had lots of good suggestions with placement of tables inside and outside of venue for best flow. "How do I begin to review Denise and Brilliant Affairs?? To say I would not have had a wedding without her is a start! I am new to NJ and was completely overwhelmed at, not just planning a wedding, but planning a wedding in an area where I am unfamiliar.

" Brilliant Affairs was simply that - brilliant. I had hired them as our month-of coordinators and could not imagine having this wedding without them.
They were wonderful with coordinating with all of our vendors and setting up a timeline for the big day, as well as managing everything from set-up to break-down the day of. We hired Denise as our day of coordinator, and we are so thankful that we did! We stayed in touch leading up to the big day, including meeting with the staff of the venue weeks beforehand to see the space and confirm the layout of decorations, etc. She handled everything on the day of the wedding so we could just relax and enjoy being with our friends and family.What small issues did come up she handled on the fly and with minimal intrusion.

My fiancé and I are a DIY couple and made all of our wedding decor ourselves, but we hired Denise to set everything up for us in the venue on our wedding day. From day one, Denise was organized and quick to respond to emails.
We held an initial walk through of our venue so she could get a sense of the space, and she quickly caught on to our decor theme and style (romantic wood, candles, and greenery). The majority of our communication was via email, but we felt confident the Denise was ready to make our space beautiful based on the pictures we shared.

"I contacted Denise to be a "day of" coordinator for our wedding day, September 25, 2016. We had a lot of decorations and homemade touches that we were bringing ourselves and I wanted to ensure it was all set up without having to stress on the day of the wedding.
